This is today's question.

  • Did any of your relatives come over on the Mayflower?
  • Who were they?
  • If they held a position, what position was it?
  • Did they survive the first winter?
  • What do you know about them?

Knowing this information is very interesting to family members. I didn't realize until after my father passed that we had 6 relatives on the Mayflower and 2 on the ship Fortune. The relatives that were in our family were my 9th Great Grandfather and 9th Great Grandmother, their 3 children including my 8th Great Grandmother and her brother and sister along with my 9th great GrandUncle. My 9 times great grandmother was pregnant while on the ship but the baby was stillborn. My 9 times great grandmother did not survive the first winter along with my 9 times great grand uncle. My 8 times great grandmother married a passenger on the ship Fortune and went on to become the oldest living survivor of the Mayflower until her death in 1699.

Here's the form to fill in for today's question.
